Bio

Luana Nanu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Hospitality Management Program at Auburn University. She also serves as the president for the Hospitality Graduate Association as well as the editorial assistant for Journal of Global Hospitality and Tourism. Moreover, she serves as a project coordinator for the M3 Center for Hospitality Technology and Innovation (M3 Center). Her major research interest is the physical environment in the hospitality industry, in particular biophilic design as well as the use of technology in the hospitality industry, and other aspects of consumer behaviors.

The purpose of this study was to measure hospital visitors’ satisfaction with a rooftop atrium and its resultant impact on the visitors’ behavioral intentions toward the healing garden, the hospital, and overall satisfaction with the hospital.
